Lv 1:
Steps of the Saints: She can move very quickly in any direction, effortlessly and can cover a lot of ground in a very short time. When hunting she can feed on someone and be gone before they even know what happened. She is there one second and simply gone in the next.
Lv2:
Blood Sight: She can see things in the blackest night as if they were in a bright light. When she uses this power, her eyes go from emerald green (her natural color) to a bright, glowing red.
Lv3:
Blood of the Saints: Her blood has extraordinary healing power. It can heal wounds and to speed a recovery exponentially. Just a small amount of it can heal anyone or anything.
Lv4:
Ashes to Ashes: Her weapon turns to ash and the ash moves to cover the target. Each little ash cuts deep into the target. The activation word is "Remember"
Lv5:
Unbound: Angelique can walk through walls. Anything she is touching can go through them as well.
Lv6:
Raging Ice: Angelique can turn fire and flames into ice. This is contagious and will spread through the fire and whatever might be touching it.
Weaknesses:
Obviously, if there is no fire, she can't use this.
She can't just randomly turn things into ice, they have to be on fire.
She can't control the path the ice takes, it spreads randomly throught the flames.
Looks:
I was going to change the clothes...but I liked them too much! ^.^ Angelique has straight, brown hair that reaches to her mid-back. She has a tatoo of a vine on her right side and one with the word “imperdonabile”(Italian for unforgiven) on the inside of her left wrist.
History:
She does not know exactly where she was born but she was left at the small church of Le Sangre de Santi just outside the city of Verona, Italy in 1653 shortly after she was born. One of the men of the church, Father Aldo, took pity on her and charged himself with her caretaking. He was a wise and caring man and became like a father to her.
On the day of her 20th birthday, Father Aldo gave her a few coins that he had been saving, and told her that she should go into the city and make a new life for herself.
“This old church is no place for a young person with so much life ahead of them, my dear.”
Even though she refused at first, the Father convinced her to go and she promised that she would come back every month to visit him and everyone in the church.
After only being in Verona for a week she became home-sick and went to visit the church. To her horror, she found that the church had been infultrated and burned to the ground. The ruins were still hot from the fire and she never forgave herself for being too late to save it. She searched and searched for Father Aldo, but she never found any trace of him and she accepted the worst.
She felt that life wasn’t worth living and was going to drown herself in the stream that ran close to the church. On the night she went out to the river a mysterious cloaked figure came to her in the dark and said, “Perché i giovani si affrettano alla morte?” (Why do the young hasten themselves to death?)”
Before she could answer he “appeared” right in front of her and made her into a vampire. When she woke up, it was hours later and the stranger was gone. All that remained was a leather-bound journal with instructions of what she should do to live. (OCC: stay out of the sunlight, you will live forever, feed on blood and so-on.)
She eventually left Verona and has traveled the world over the years. She has now come to Blood City in her travels. She is cursed to be “A vampire with a human heart” as she still holds Father Aldo’s memory very fondly and goes to Verona to visit the ruined church on the aniversary of the day she found it destroyed (July 15th).
