Blank Without, Empty Within: Cava is a girl without an identity, so used to stealing them from others that she feels empty. Whenever she touches someone she is able to take on their physical appearance. Her face, body and clothes change to mimic the other person, but she feels so empty and terrible to do so that she prefers to be herself. When she borrows an identity she gets their voice as well, since their vocal chords are also mimicked. She must be able to think clearly to maintain her mimic, so if her concentration is broken by pain or something similar, she reverts to her normal self. Control of her mimicking abilities rely on her being emotionless, and any strong emotion will break her control over it. Cava is also able to use telekinesis, using her mind to move objects, but it relies on contact. She can use it to enhance a touch into a powerful blow, throwing her enemies across the room with a flick of a finger. Her mind allows her to see and speak without a mouth or eyes, producing an audible sound and mimicking physical sight.

History: Cava was born to a human mother who had laid with a shapeshifter, though she had not realized it. Her daughter was born with no face, and in horror she had abandoned the girl. The father found out and killed the mother, managing to find his daughter before she died. He raised her and taught her well, but left when she became twelve. He had no real attachment, just a sense of responsibility, and he believed he had fulfilled his obligations by teaching her until that point. He was apparently right, since she lived and even thrived in the streets, taking the name Cava, which meant Hollow in Italian. She lived by begging and stealing, taking the identities of others and manipulating lives so she could survive. When she met Baeden he changed her life, showing her how to give her empty life meaning by using her abilities to help others rather than selfishly.
