Born in Shadow, The Masters of Puppets: Cadjai and Jacaid were born with a strong affinity for shadows, taking it in and making it a part of themselves. They seem to be made of shadow, though it is really normal flesh, and a black aura constantly shifts around them. They are able to absorb things into their body and store them, though not if they are able to resist. (conscious people can struggle, keeping themselves from being absorbed) When absorbed, the object is simply stored elsewhere, not even the twins are sure where, and no longer weighs them down at all. They can retrieve objects from here by reaching into their own body. They cannot use this power to absorb arrows or weapons attacking them, they are moving too quickly. They also learned the art of torture young, using it to sculpt living bodies into shapes they find pleasing. They can keep alive people that should have died from their ministrations, putting part of their own power into the subject so they can stand the agony and abuse.

Cadjai is the one facing forward, and Jacaid faces backward.
History: Cadjai and Jacaid are a strange set of 'twins', since they were conceived by two different fathers at the same time with the same mother. (Don't think about it too hard.) Their demon mother gave birth to them, and they grew and developed abnormally fast. They were very close to each other, devoted entirely to what was technically their half brother, and became figuratively inseparable as well as literally. By age three they were highly skilled fighters and torturers, and traveled to the human world to put their skills to use. They had little interest in anything other than personal entertainment, and the mortal world seemed the best place to find it.
