Character Name: What they preferred to be called by.
Full Name: First Name and Surname. Middle name optional.
Nick Name(s): This is also optional.
Gender: Self explanatory.
Age:
When ageing a character take into account that whilst Vampires and Lycanthropes are immortal only a few make it past 300 and these ones are often of decent rank in the ruling factions by now. The oldest Vampires and Lycanthropes are around 1000-2000 years old and are often in a sorry state. Both races are often involved with heavy combat so when they are this old they are often heavily injured and no where near as powerful as they once were. However, these older characters are the ones in senior roles, no longer fighting fit but there to share their wisdom and experience. There are said to be even older Vampires and Lycanthropes around, but they are so rare that they are not playable characters.
If your character is 300+ years old they must have a decent rank in their field of expertise. The older they are the more senior their role should be. Characters that are 1000+ years old must have some form of disability and scarring to represent the wear and tear they have taken over the years. You must also know your history if you plan on having an old character as you have to tell us about their long life at a higher standard then is expected of younger characters.
Humans age much the same today, but richer humans can afford to stretch out their youth and lifespan by a few extra decades.
Birthday: Day, month and year.
Height: Feet and inches preferred.
Body Structure: Is your character athletic and tall? Or perhaps your character has a heavily set behemoth?
Species: Your species must be one from the species thread.
Occupation: What does your character do for a living? Or are they unemployed or a student?
Personality:
Tell us about what your character is like as a person. Is he/she shy and kind or arrogant and wicked? How does your character act around other people and what does he/she think of them? How does your character view relationships and friends? What does your character think of other species and their own? These are just a few examples. This section most be at least 100 words.
Miscellaneous:
Additional information about your character goes here. Physical Faults, Parents, Siblings, Relationships, Partners, Children, Friends, Allies, Enemies, Beliefs/Religion, Past Careers, Ambitions, Hobbies, Likes, Dislikes, Loathes, Fears, Good Qualities, Bad Habits, Strengths, Weaknesses, Turn Ons/Offs, etc. This section is as extensive as you want it to be. The more you tell people about your character the better.
Background:
Tell us about your character's entire history till this point in time. Tell us about the defining parts of his/her life. How did your character grow up? What was their family like? How did they come to learn their skills and discover the talents they have today? How did they enter their chosen occupation? These are just example questions, but your history has to be reasonably extensive regardless. This section has to be at least around 500 words.
Body Stats:
Strength: 1
Stamina: 1
Agility: 1
Resilience: 1
Brain: 1
*Regeneration: 1
The body stats cover the state of your character's body, which if your species allows can be changed. A unmodified human body is at a baseline of 1 across all the stats. You can still be smart and strong without any modified stats, however the potential increases with change. You do not have to change your stats and you can add however many you want. This is not a game, so you should modify your stats to best represent your character rather then solely to make the character more powerful. This system helps represent modifications to your character's body and how he/she fairs with other characters.
Unless stated otherwise in the species section, your character can spend 10 points on raising their body stats. Each body stat, unless stated otherwise in the species section, can go to a maximum of 5. You can decrease your body stats no matter what your race is to represent disability or injury, but you cannot reclaim the lost points.
Any increases or decreases have to be apparent in the character's appearance or body in some way. If your character is made stronger, they will obviously become more muscular/bigger or have powerful bionic limbs. If your character has a strength of 0 they have to have a visible disability, such as missing limbs for example. Changes to the brain or organs will be not so noticeable, but you must take into account how all changes will transform your character. Remember that changing your body will often be expensive, so only wealthy or privileged characters can take advantage of great body modification.
*Regeneration represents the heal rate of a character. At 1 it is natural human healing. It can never be instant or near the level of a super power. The highest level would, for example, allow someone to heal from broken limbs in days rather then months.
Armour: See here for details.
Skills:
Skill 1
Skill 2
Skill 3 (Mastery)
This represents what your character is talented or skilled at. Be it a particular form of fighting or being a good artist, these are what your character excel at a level that is above average.
You have 10 skill slots in total. You can also choose to master a skill, which represents something which your character has dedicated a good chunk of their life to. To master a skill you need to sacrifice 3 skill slots. You are only allowed to master a maximum of two skills.
Weapons:
Weapon Type 1
Weapon Type 2
Weapon Type 3
Instead of picking individual weapons, you pick weapon types. Once you have picked a type of weapon you will be able to use that weapon at will. For example; if you pick pistols you will have access to all pistols, be able to carry them about on your person and use them competently.
